Today we made a real life experiment in the cafeteria, answering the question: If there are four people, how many different ways can you arrange them around a table. We found out quickly that there are only six ways, and that if you place one person in a permanent spot, and arrange everyone else around them you find you can only find six ways untily ou start to repeat seatings.

So, today i realized i have lost my computer privledges, but i am on the computer using blogger ONLY to talk about my math class. Mrs Peyton was doing a good job of keeping the class on task, and i caught up on some accelerated math. I did al the questions i could do on my own without help, and did a couple exercises, good day, minus the computer privledge part of it.

Change of base theorm.. hmm. It is not the hardest unit, actually i really like logarithims. I get how to do most things when i follow along, but when i look at a problem at home, by myself i dont always succeed. I think the full solutions booklet will help me in the future with this.

Today we had a lesson on Exponential functions. Some of the material was stuff we had already learned in grade ten pre calc, and the equations we had to solve using the exponent laws were quite easy. I have a better understanding of this, and have a good feeling about this unit coming up.
