Today we made a real life experiment in the cafeteria, answering the question: If there are four people, how many different ways can you arrange them around a table. We found out quickly that there are only six ways, and that if you place one person in a permanent spot, and arrange everyone else around them you find you can only find six ways untily ou start to repeat seatings.
